Five SAC Employees Said to Get Insider Probe Subpoenas

Five senior employees at Steven Cohen’s SAC Capital Advisors LP received subpoenas as part of the U.S. multiyear probe into insider trading at the hedge fund firm, two people with knowledge of the matter said.

Subpoenas were sent to SAC President Tom Conheeney; Chief Operating Officer Solomon Kumin; Steve Kessler, head of compliance; and Phillipp Villhauer, head trader, said the person, who asked not to be named because the information is private. Anthony Vaccarino, an SAC portfolio manager, also received a subpoena, another person familiar with the matter said.
