Amazon Is Said to Have Tested a Wireless Network

Aug. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Amazon.com Inc. has tested a newwireless network that would allow customers to connect itsdevices to the Internet, according to people with knowledge ofthe matter.

The wireless network, which was tested in Cupertino,California, used spectrum controlled by satellite communicationscompany Globalstar Inc., said the people who asked not to beidentified because the test was private.
