Latour ’45 Sells for $32,570 at Bonhams London Wine Sale

A 12-bottle case of Chateau Latour 1945 wine from one of the top Bordeaux vintages of the last century sold for 21,150 pounds ($32,570) at Bonhams in London while a single bottle of Chateau Mouton Rothschild ’45 fetched 5,875 pounds.
While the sale showed continuing collector interest in top wines from the vintage that marked the end of the Second World War, demand for more recent wine focused on lots such as one comprising six bottles of Chateau Petrus 1990, which fetched 11,397 pounds, according to results posted on Bonhams website.
