Argentina’s tax agency said it found thousands of undeclared bank accounts at HSBC Holdings Plc’s Swiss unit that helped Argentines evade taxes.

The president of HSBC Argentina is among those who had an undeclared account, Ricardo Echegaray, the head of the country’s tax agency, said at a press conference in Buenos Aires yesterday. The bureau has presented evidence to an Argentine court to press charges, he said.
