President Barack Obama is bringing members of the Congressional Black Caucus to the White House Tuesday as he lobbies to get his agenda through Congress, including action on a major trade agreement.

Obama has been been trying to make the case for the a 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership to Democratic lawmakers, who’ve been suspicious of such deals. The caucus could help swing enough Democratic votes to join with Republican backers of the trade deal to push it along.
