U.S. Stock-Index Futures Fluctuate on October Jobs Report

U.S. stock futures fluctuated, after benchmark indexes closed at all-time highs yesterday, as data showed companies hired fewer workers than forecast in October while the jobless rate unexpectedly fell to a six-year low.

Futures on the S&P 500 expiring in December dropped less than 0.1 percent to 2,027.80 at 9:03 a.m. in New York. Dow Jones Industrial Average contracts added 2 points, or less than 0.1 percent, to 17,506.
