Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Both Teva Pharmaceutical IndustriesInc.’s Cephalon unit and Johnson & Johnson’s JanssenPharmaceuticals unit filed requests Oct. 29 with a Chicagofederal court, seeking protection for what they claim are tradesecrets about their products.

In the underlying suit, the city of Chicago claims it washarmed by what it called pharmaceutical companies’ deceptivemarking of opiate-based pain-relief drugs.
