If Sanofi wants a French person as its new chief executive officer, it may want to look beyond AstraZeneca Plc’s Pascal Soriot, because he said today he considers himself Australian.
Sanofi approached Soriot about the job before it ousted CEO Chris Viehbacher last week, people with knowledge of the matter have said. The AstraZeneca chief wasn’t interested, they said.
