Angie’s List Inc., which publishes consumer reviews on businesses such as plumbers and dentists, has halted a plan to expand its Indianapolis headquarters, citing Indiana’s new law allowing businesses to refuse to serve gays and lesbians on religious grounds.

The company said it had expected to break ground within days on a project to expand its campus. Chief Executive Bill Oesterle said Saturday that the company won’t move forward until it can “fully understand” the impact Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act would have on its employees.
