French President Francois Hollande turned down a request for political asylum from WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange, saying he’s in no immediate danger.

Assange, who is living in the Ecuadorian embassy in London, made his request in a letter to Hollande, published Friday by daily newspaper Le MondeBloomberg Terminal.
