U.K. Risks Missing Renewable Goal, National Grid Report Says

The U.K. will miss its renewable energy targets in all except one scenario analyzed by the country’s grid operator.

Only in a “gone green” scenario where environmental “ambition is not restrained by financial limitations” does the U.K. meet the European Union goals, National Grid Plc said Wednesday in its Future Energy Scenarios report.
