Jerry Seinfeld is selling some of his Porsches at an auction in March.

This is big news because while he is a well-known car collector and Porsche aficionado, Seinfeld is notoriously cagey about how many, and which, cars he actually owns. The actor/comedian famously hosts chatty Crackle show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (in which President Obama even guest-starred), but most of the cars featured on that show do not belong to him. One Porsche that did—a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS—he famously called a “dead man’s” car because he bought it from the estate of a man who had died, and he himself planned to own the car until he died as well.
