Canadian wheat and canola yields probably will drop to eight-year lows after unusually hot, dry weather scorched the prairies this year, grain-marketer CWB said.

Spring-wheat yields across Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan will be 38.9 bushels per acre, down 15 percent from a year earlier, CWB said Friday in Regina, Saskatchewan. Canola yields will drop 15 percent.
