Protesters blocking the roads at two main occupied sites in Hong Kong have the chance to appear in the High Court at 10 a.m. today for injunction hearings to defend their action as pressure mounts on them to clear out.

The court granted three interim injunctions on Oct. 20 to those opposing blockades that have led to traffic jams and disrupted Hong Kong. The plaintiffs are closely-held Chiu Luen Public Light Bus Company Ltd., members of taxi associations in Mong Kok district and Golden Investment Ltd., owner of Citic Tower near a protest site in the Admiralty district.
