SK Innovation Plans Shutdown for Ulsan Crude Units in 2012

SK Innovation Co., which owns South Korea’s biggest oil refiner, plans to shut a crude-processing unit at its Ulsan refinery for maintenance in March and another one in October.

The refiner will idle the 240,000-barrel-a-day No. 4 crude-distillation unit in Ulsan for 34 days starting March 20, according to a statement by the Seoul-based company. It will shut the 110,000-barrel-a-day No. 2 crude-distillation unit at the refinery for 30 days starting Oct. 11.
