U.S. SEC Asks Judge to Force Wells Fargo to Comply With Subpoena

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission asked a federal judge to force Wells Fargo & Co. to comply with a subpoena for documents in an investigation related to mortgage-backed securities.

The subpoena enforcement action was filed today in U.S. District Court for the northern district of California, the commission said in a statement on its website.
