U.S. stock-index futures were little changed, paring earlier losses, as investors considered the implications of the first diagnosis of Ebola in New York.

Contracts expiring in December on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index lost 0.1 percent as of 9:06 a.m. in London. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were little changed, while contracts on the Nasdaq 100 Index slid 0.2 percent.
