Fox’s FX Posts Record Ratings With ‘American Horror Story’ Debut

FX, the cable outlet owned by 21st Century Fox Inc., said the debut of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” posted the network’s highest ratings ever.

The program, which made its fourth season debut on Oct. 8, attracted an audience of 10 million viewers, including 6.54 million in the younger age group advertisers target, the network said today in an e-mailed statement.
