Vietnam September Rubber Exports Forecast At 75,000 Tons

Vietnam, the fourth-biggest rubber exporter in 2010, may ship 75,000 tons this month, according to figures today from the General Statistics Office in Hanoi, 8.5 percent less than in the same period last year.

The nation shipped 81,000 metric tons in August, down 4.7 percent from a previous assessment of 85,000 tons, figures from the Statistics Office show. Exports in the first nine months of 2011 were estimated at 525,000 tons, up 2.4 percent from a year earlier.
