Lanxess AG Chief Executive Officer Axel Heitmann said the company will hire about 10 percent more workers this year, Sueddeutsche Zeitung reported, citing an interview with the manager.

Heitmann is confident about 2012 and doesn’t believe that the euro will fail, he said, according to the German newspaper. Business is “still good,” the CEO told Sueddeutsche.
