Elevated prices encouraged more Americans to put their homes up for sale in June, snapping a three-year trend of declines on an annual basis. Some 1.95 million previously owned houses were available for purchase, 0.5 percent more than in June 2017, according to National Association of Realtors data released Monday. “This is an indication that possibly the lows in inventory may be coming to an end,” Lawrence Yun, NAR’s chief economist, said at a press briefing.
