Danske Bank A/S needs to prepare for the risk that customers will continue to walk out, and figure out a strategy to prevent that from happening, according to the man just named to run the scandal-hit bank.

Chris Vogelzang, an ABN Amro veteran who will become chief executive officer of Danske on June 1, says the money laundering case that engulfed the bank last year has obviously created “trust issues.”
