Nigel Farage said his Brexit Party will stand aside in 317 seats won by the Conservatives in 2017, to avoid damaging Boris Johnson’s efforts to secure a parliamentary majority to end the impasse over leaving the European Union. The pound rose the most in more than three weeks.
