For most of the developed world, rate hikes are forecast. It’s just a question of how many. Two outliers are Australia, whose central bank meets Tuesday to set its benchmark rate, and Switzerland. Swaps traders see an about 20 percent chance the Reserve Bank of Australia will cut rates by the end of the year, though for Tuesday’s decision all economists we surveyed expect no change.
