Twitter Inc. says that it will meet with the staff of the U.S. Senate committee investigating the 2016 election.

"Twitter engages with governments around the world on public policy issues of importance and of interest to policymakers. We are cooperating with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence in its inquiry into the 2016 election and will meet with committee staff next week," according to a spokesperson.
