Barclays Plc said an employee in its New York trading operations tested positive for the coronavirus and has been self-quarantined since March 3.

Colleagues and clients in close contact with the employee have been notified, and the bank told coworkers to self-quarantine as well, Barclays said in a statement Tuesday. The bank said it’s working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other local authorities.
